T___T;; Ok, so...I turned on my Mac last night and freaked over a weird noise it started making. In a panic, I shut it down and didnt dare touch it. I called support this morning and they [being extremely helpful] gave me numerous things to do to fix the problem.

Nothing worked.

At this point, I wanted to cry. I love my Mac dearly, it has real sentimental value deep within the gears that make it run. It is my first computer that I got to call my own and fought to keep. It was a gift from my grandfather and meant a lot because it was brand spankin' new, not a second hand paperweight. Plus he even threw in the warranty [which, I am so grateful for now].

There is no way in hell Im letting this baby die on me.

The lady on the phone said they could find me the nearest repair shop who actually know what the phuck they are doing before they sink their greedy fangs into my computer. Its four hours away. Theres no way I can go, no one is going to drive my ass up there for a computer. Option 2 in the situation would be to send it up to apple in cali where it wouldnt come back for about 6 or 7 days....I dont know what to do. I called the repair place down the road that will look at my Mac but not until tuesday or wednesday. You've got to be shitting me.

-____- All in all, something has to be done. It sounds as if my comp is on its last leg....support stand. Whatever.

It also means no photoshop. The good kind anyway. So art of the digital variety will be held off for a while but I will try and get some traditional stuff up as so as I can.
